This was one of the largest farmers markets that we have ever seen, and incredibly, there were actually farmers at this farmers market. We’ve learned that at many farmers markets, the food is purchased wholesale and sold at the market. But at this farmers market, there were actually farm families selling the produce and meat products that they had actually grown and produced themselves. There was an array of products for sale, from Iowa T-shirts to special spices and sauces, as well as food, jewelry, with magicians and balloon, blowers, entertaining children. We had fun.

Be sure to wear good footwear. You will be walking a good deal. Lots of great vendors with great choices and a large variety of product types. Definitely something for everyone. Most vendors take some form of payment other than cash, though cash is appreciated. Local parking garage charges $5 for the market. We'll worth the cost.
